(I) As Researcher, I enrolled myself as a Ph. D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science with Rural Administration, Vidyasagar University, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, India, and conducted my first research from 2001 to 2007 on the topic of – EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN AND PANCHAYATI RAJ: PERCEPTIONS AND REALITY- A CASE STUDY OF RURAL MIDNAPORE. My supervisor was Prof. Anil Kumar Jana, M.A., M.Phil. Ph. D.
(II) Then I received a Major Project from the Indian Council of Social Science Research, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. I worked as the Project Director from 2015 to 2017. I conducted the research in three states of India namely West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan. After that, I submitted the project report in time with an Audit report of all my expenses.
(III) Received a publication grant from the Eastern Regional Centre (ERC) of the Indian Council of Social Science Research in 2019 for publishing my book named – GENDER EMPOWERMENT IN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS: PROSPECTS AND DEBATES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN INDIA.
I am an expert in Scientific Market and Area Surveys (both local and national) by formulating questionnaires, preparing hypotheses, reviewing relevant and contemporary literature, collecting data, interpreting data, finding out the problems, and providing POLICY PRESCRIPTIONS to the government and concerned organizations.
